How to use cow dung to make granular fertilizer?
Cow dung can be a useful ingredient in making granular fertilizer because it is rich in nutrients like nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium, which are essential for plant growth. Here are the steps to make granular fertilizer using cow dung:
Step 1: Fermentation
After collecting cow dung and mixing it with hay, rotten silage, bacteria and so on, you need to make compost and then let it ferment. In the fermentation, the compost turner equipment is used to fully ferment the cow dung. If some places are very dry and others are very wet, it will affect the quality of fermentation.
Step 2: Crushing and mixing the ingredients
After mixing the composted materials, inorganic fertilizers like N, P, K and other raw materials in the batching bin, they will be crushed and mixed in a certain proportion by the new type vertical crusher and horizontal mixer.
Step 3: Granulating
In this step, there is a new type organic fertilizer granulator to granulate materials.
Step 4: Screening and recycling system
The granular material from the granulation molding system has a certain difference in size of pellets. Therefore, it needs to be sieved and classified.
Step 5: Drying
Through the rotary drum drying machine, the moisture are further removed from sieved pellets so that to meet the standard requirements of organic fertilizer moisture content.
Step 6: Cooling
The granular materials need to be cool by using the rotary drum cooling machine, which helps to keep the granules in storage and guaranteeing quality.
Step 7: Packaging
The granular materials cooled by the rotary drum cooling machine are transported into the finished product warehouse through the bucket elevator. Granular materials can be quantitatively weighed and packaged through single (double) bucket automatic packing scale.
