How to ferment chicken manure to make organic fertilizer?
1. Make a starter. After the starter is purchased, mix and match according to the instructions for use. The amount of starter used by different manufacturers is different.
2. Adjust the proportion of fertilizer. By adding straw, the carbon and nitrogen ratio of chicken manure is adjusted between 25: 1 and 30: 1, and the pH value is adjusted to between 6-8.
3. Adjust the moisture content of chicken manure. The moisture content of chicken manure for organic fertilizer fermentation is required to be 60%-65%.
4. Chicken manure composting. Pile chicken manure to a height of one and a half meters, two meters wide, and two to four meters long. Do not pile it too short. If an aerobic starter is used, ventilation needs to be strengthened to ensure the effect. You can use crawler type compost turner to short the fermentation time.
Generally, after 48 hours of chicken manure accumulation, the temperature will rise to 50 ~ 60 ℃, and it can reach above 65 ℃ on the third day. It is turned over once under this high temperature, and 2 ~ 3 times of 65 ℃ will occur during the fermentation process. Above high temperature, the fermentation can be completed after 2 to 3 times of overturning by the crawler type compost turner and the fermentation can be completed in about a week, so that the material can be completely deodorized, fermented and decomposed, sterilized and insecticidal.
There are many types of fermentation equipment, such as groove type turners, wheel type turners, crawler type turners etc. Each type of fermentation equipment has many models. If you need to purchase a chicken manure fermentation organic fertilizer equipment, welcome to contact us.
